Shipping Information:
Our delivery charges depend on where you live, what floor, if there is an elevator, and what you want to be set up.

We can do the Delivery and/or set up in the greater Chicagoland area so you don’t have to. If you live in the greater Chicagoland area call our store at (847)866-8124 to get rates and info about our own Affordable Portables delivery and setup services. Do you want to pick it up after we set it up or in the box? That’s no problem, we have 3 pick up locations.
We can also ship to you in the 48 contiguous United States. When you place an order to ship, we hire a shipping carrier to deliver your furniture at a discount. Our goal is to reduce the cost you pay. OTHER companies offer free shipping of heavy furniture and bundle together prices with the shipping cost. What if you want to pick it up? Should you still have to pay their bundled shipping cost? We don’t think so. We break out the cost of shipping heavy items, so you can see what you are paying for and avoid those hidden costs.
Shipping delivery:
Your product can be delivered to the threshold of your residence or brought right into the room of your choice for an additional fee (White Glove). In some rare cases really large items may only be delivered from the back of the delivery truck. We will contact you if this is the case. Protect your product from damage:
Remember to inspect the package when it is delivered to make sure there is no damage. If you notice that the box has damage then please be sure to write Product Damaged on the sheet that the delivery person asks you to sign. Take digital pictures of the damage, don’t open the item, and contact us.
How long will delivery take?:
Delivery time varies based on distance and what you order. Items usually ship using ground transportation. We will contact you if there is any reason for an excessive delay. Please feel free to contact our Evanston store if you would like more specific information at (847)866-8124.
Returns and Exchanges:
Please take time to make sure the item(s) you purchase are the right size, color, weight, and will fit up the stairs or elevator and are the right size for your room. If you have any doubts or question contact our Evanston store at (847)866-8124. Our staff has great product knowledge and will be happy to discuss the specifics and help you avoid issues before they occur.
Contact us first if you think you need to make a Return.
We may be able to take care of the issue without you having to make a return. If you contact us first and you do need to make a return make sure you put the item back into the original box and packaging. Shipping and return shipping is non-refundable.

Cancelling a shipment:
Once you order an item and the item ships, it is too late to cancel the shipment. If this happens contact our Evanston store at (847)866-8124. Cancelling a shipment when the shipper charges us will result in you being responsible for shipping costs.
Our goal is to be perfect but just in case we reserve the right to correct all pricing errors.
